Other than the occasional ideas that take my fancy (and I just can't resist making) the majority of my work is on a commission basis.

The most enjoyable thing for me is to produce unique designs which will be an extra special keepsake, either as a gift for someone dear or as a treat to you.

I'll be delighted to discuss your ideas with you.  Here's how my process works.

These items are made to order and can be paid for by credit card or PayPal through the Etsy website.  I have a ‘Custom Order’ tab on this site if you want something designed for you.

I'll get back to you with a list of questions so I can get a full idea of what it is you require.

We'll discuss size, text and pictures required, colours and patterns of fabric, the  frame and other important bits and bobs.

Once we're at this stage I'll make a rough sketch (warning...I'm much better at sewing than drawing!)  I'll e-mail this to you along with a quote to get your thoughts and when we're both happy I'll go ahead.

Sewing machine and fabrics come out and I begin.

Your completed picture is gift wrapped and it's off to the Post Office.

 

Payment

My price will be based on the amount of time I estimate the piece will take, along with materials used, including the frame. I will ask for payment as I'm about to start the piece.  

Once payment has been received its 'all systems go!'

All payments can be made securely through PayPal or bank transfer.

 

Returns and refunds

Whilst I'm confident you'll be thrilled with your picture when you receive it, I ask that as soon as it arrives you check all spellings.  With all bespoke items I am unable to refund due to not being able to resell it.  However, if there is any damage to the item please contact me immediately.

 

Postage and Packing

Please expect all bespoke items to take up to 10 days from when payment is received to when you receive it. However, if you need something urgently please let me know and I'll see what I can do for you.

A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you on completion.

P&P is calculated on the weight of the item.

All orders will be beautifully wrapped.  I don't use sellotape, instead string or ribbon is used to secure the paper.  This means that if it is a gift you will be able to take a sneaky peek first and then easily re-wrap. Hey Presto, your gift is ready to be given!

 

International Buyers
